Research Associate and Fellowships Coordinator
Hubert is a Research Associate and Fellowships Coordinator at the African Leadership Centre. In this capacity, his work involves providing significant support to the Head of Fellowships across all aspects of the ALC Fellowship programmes - from development, to implementation, and monitoring and evaluation – as well as supporting major research projects being undertaken at the Centre.
Hubert holds a Master's degree in Peace Studies and International Relations (with Distinction) and has five (5) years professional experience researching and analysing peace, security and development across Africa, especially in the Horn of Africa and the African Great Lakes Region.
His research interests span: Human Security Dimensions of China-Africa Engagements; Youth Agency in Peace and Security; Disruptive Dialogues about African and Black Masculinities and Feminisms; Politics of Knowledge Production on Peace and Security in Africa.
