Olajide Akanji has a background in History and Political Science from Obafemi Awolowo University and University of Ibadan, Nigeria respectively. He currently teaches Political Science in the Department of Political Science, Faculty of the Social Sciences, University of Ibadan, Nigeria. He was formerly with the Department of Political Science and Public Administraion, Redeemer's University, Nigeria.
