Phidelia is a graduate with a BA in Sociology (University of Ghana). Prior to joining CSDG, Phidelia worked as a Research Assistant with Africa Security Dialogue and Research (ASDR) and the African Security Sector Network (ASSN). She was engaged in research and advocacy on issues of human security, privatization of security and the need for a security policy that is appropriate for engineering the kind of social change needed for the development agenda of Ghana. Phidelia also worked as a field assistant on diverse research projects for the Centre for Gender studies, University of Ghana. She has also worked with the Institute for Democratic Governance, a research organization based in Ghana, as a research assistant and election observer. Phidelia is a young dynamic African woman who believes that given the opportunity she will help in the process of making Africa a place where citizens’ basic rights are guaranteed and protected.
