Upon her BA graduation she became an Administrator in Kanifing Municipal Council, where she has worked with the disaster relief committee to map out and develop sound systems of support for Casamance/Senegalese refugees residing in The Gambia.
Salama has a BA in Development Studies (University of the Gambia) and a MA in Conflict Security and Development (King’s College London).
