Ms Kolosa Nonkenge obtained a Bachelor of Political Science and International Relations and a Bachelor of Social Sciences (Honours) in Political Science and International Relations both from Rhodes University. In her tenure as a student at Rhodes University, Kolosa occupied various student leadership positions and served as a Politics and International Relations Tutor (2015) and Community Engagement Officer for a student society (2012). She also participated in the Fort Hare Autumn School for university students a programme which seeks to enhance students critical thinking, leadership qualities and knowledge on Democracy and Political Economy. Since then Kolosa has worked at the Centre for the Study of Violence and Reconciliation (CSVR) as an Advocacy fellow working in the areas of Transitional Justice, torture and Urban Violence.
