Benetta has extensive professional experience with UNICEF as a national officer in Liberia. Her work has mainly focussed on internally displaced persons, children in armed conflict, abused women and girls and the co-working of government institutions and international agencies. Prior to joining the Fellowship programme she was the Deputy Minister in charge of Administration and Planning in the Gender Ministry in the government of Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, where she was responsible for the formulation and supervision of Women and Children Programmes. Benetta is a graduate with a MA in Regional science and a BSc in Elementary Education (University of Liberia).
