Emiola Oyefuga is a gender and knowledge management specialist with a focus on security and justice sector issues. She studied at the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria obtaining a first degree in Agriculture (Plant Science) and a Masters in Business Administration (MBA). Discovering a passion for equality and justice, she went on to obtain a diploma in Gender, Poverty and Employment from the International Training Centre of the ILO, Turin, Italy and an MA in Gender and Development from the Institute of Development Studies (IDS), University of Sussex in Brighton, UK. She has worked and consulted on various international development programmes since 2003. She believes knowledge sharing is key to empowerment.
