Walter Sakarombe (Zimbabwean)

Mr Walter Sakarombe holds a Master of Development Policy from the Korea Development Institute, School of Public Policy and Management’s G20 Global Leadership Fellowship Programme, where he studied South Korean-African economic diplomacy extensively. Mr Walter also holds a Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in Rural and Urban Planning from the University of Zimbabwe where he currently works as a development researcher and consultant. He has a keen interest in centre-local relations and participatory democracy in Africa which constitute key thematic areas in his research work. His research interests include: local governance, peace and security; water and sanitation;, gender/HIV mainstreaming; and regional integration.
