Clement Sefa-Nyarko has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology (with Study of Religions) from the University of Ghana. He has undertaken advanced studies in Philosophy and Theology from the St. Victors Major Seminary, under the direction of the Societas Verbi Divini (SVD); plus leadership and pastoral training at the SVD philosophicum and theologicum – Ghana Province. Sefa-Nyarko also has an HND in Mechanical Engineering. He has been involved in wide ranges of research activities in society. He has assisted in anthropological and gender-based data collection and analysis at the Institute of African Studies in the University of Ghana (as a National Service Person); assisted in teaching and administrative activities at the Tamale Institute of Cross-Cultural Studies (TICCS) in northern Ghana; assisted professors at the Psychology Department of the University of Kansas to conduct research works in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana; and has taught the subject of Mathematics at the secondary level of education in Ghana.
