Finance and Administration Manager

CPA Japheth Munyekenye Juma is the Finance and Administration Manager at ALC, bringing nearly two decades of expertise in financial management, accounting, grants administration, and operational leadership.
Prior to joining ALC, Japheth served as the Regional Finance and Administration Officer for Eastern and Southern Africa at Diakonie Katastrophenhilfe, a German humanitarian organization based in Nairobi. Before that, he spent thirteen years with Innovations for Poverty Action (IPA)—an American research organization—where he held the role of Associate Finance Manager, overseeing financial operations across the Kenya, Zambia, and Malawi offices.
He is a Certified Public Accountant of Kenya (CPA-K) and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Banking and Finance from Moi University. Japheth also earned a Diploma in Business Management from the Kenya Institute of Management and has completed his coursework and thesis for an MSc. in Strategic Management at Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT), awaiting graduation.
With a strong track record in donor compliance, financial reporting, and institutional strengthening, Japheth plays a key role in supporting ALC’s mission through sound financial stewardship and strategic operational support.
